Celebrating the value of Water

Our 6th graders turn words into fine works of art!

In an inspiring display of creativity, 6th graders from 8th and 4th primary schools of Chania were assigned to turn strong words into true masterpieces, showcasing their understanding of one of Earth’s most precious resources: Water.

 

The project started in the English lesson with the students initially reflecting on famous quotes in English, translating them into Greek and French in a second phase, making it a trilingual matter for further discussion.

Guided by those remarkable phrases that emphasize the value of water, these young artists explored themes of conservation, the beauty of nature, and created colorful and imaginative artworks bringing their own perspectives to life through their paintings. Their work is not just art; it’s a direct call to action showing us all the power of young minds.
