First graders', water cycle researchers!

An exciting day was spent by our first graders! They went on an excursion to the beautiful lake of Agia, where they were transformed into water explorers! They learnt how every tiny raindrop and mighty river is part of a fantastic journey called the water cycle. With the guidance of the MYES Ayia theatre educators and their teachers, they worked with their minds, hearts and bodies.

But that was not all! With the help of the MYES Ayia teachers they also used amazing robots, which the children programmed themselves! Just imagine: the robots, the BeeBots, the mechanical bees, were used to study the water cycle (always under the supervision of their teachers, of course!). The children used their amazing coding skills to tell the robots exactly what to do, like real scientists! 

 

 

 

 

This trip was not just about seeing, it was about discovering, creating and understanding how our world works in the most amazing ways. The children were inspired by the magic of water and the power of their own brilliant minds!
